Rodgers: Champions League qualification among biggest career achievements

first_imgLeicester City boss, Brendan Rodgers, knows victory at Tottenham today could go a long way to Champions League qualification. Rodgers enjoyed enormous success with Celtic and almost led Liverpool to the Premier League title. But the 47-year-old insists this would rank alongside those achievements. He said: “If we were to do it, it would be up there. “If I looked at the challenge at Liverpool it was about getting them back into the Champions League, having to make cuts to the squad. “The club had been out of it for five seasons. We made that and we felt that was good work. “Going to Celtic, it was a different challenge again. The club was out of the Champions League for a few years.
