Electricity supplies affected by Friday night sub station fire in Derry

first_img Facebook Police in Derry are investigating an arson attack at an electricity sub station in the Daisyfield Park area at around twenty past nine on Friday evening last.The blaze caused substantial damage to the sub station and affected electrical supply to parts of the city for a period of time. Fire service and police personnel in attendance came under attack by a group of youths throwing stones and bottles.
