Grier, while being tackled by a Longhorns defender, appeared to grab his left knee after he hit the turf.Grier was able to walk off the field on his own power, but he was clearly favoring his other leg. It’s too early to tell if he’s sustained any real damage.Texas defensive lineman Malcolm Roach was called for a horse collar tackle on the play. The call gave West Virginia a first down.Here’s video of the play. You can tell that Grier lands awkwardly when he’s pulled down to the ground.Will Grier has exited the game from this play.
